Deal: Humble's Double Fine Bundle Has 11 Steam Games From $5, and 7 Are Rated Verified or Playable on Steam Deck
The Double Fine Publisher Bundle runs until November 6, with seven games at $5 and four more at $8. Here's how every game is rated for Steam Deck, which ones have native Linux builds, and which ones to skip if you play on SteamOS.

Humble Bundle has a new Double Fine Publisher Bundle with 11 games from the studio behind Psychonauts and Brütal Legend. All of them come as Steam keys. For a SteamOS player, the important question is which ones actually work on a handheld, so I checked every game’s official Steam Deck Compatibility rating.
Check time: I checked the Humble page and every Steam store page on Monday, October 19, 2026, at about 10:50 AM CT. Prices and ratings can change, so check before you buy.
The deal at a glance
- Price: $5 minimum for the first tier, or $8 or more for all 11 games. Humble lists the bundle’s total value at $146.
- Ends: Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 05:00 UTC. That’s Friday, November 6 at 11:00 PM CT. Daylight saving time ends on November 1, so that’s 11:00 PM CST.
- Keys: Every game is redeemed on Steam. Humble says the keys expire, so redeem and activate them on Steam before May 6, 2027.
- Region limits: None listed. Humble’s bundle data shows no region lock and no excluded countries for any of the games.
- Charity: Part of your purchase supports Day of the Devs, Double Fine’s indie games showcase charity. Humble says donations go through PayPal Giving Fund. Like most Humble bundles, you can adjust how your payment is split.
Steam Deck ratings, tier by tier
These are Valve’s official Steam Deck Compatibility ratings from each game’s Steam store page. “Native Linux” means Steam lists a SteamOS/Linux build. Without one, the game runs through Proton.
Pay $5 (7 games):
- Costume Quest: Verified. Native Linux.
- Hack ‘n’ Slash: Verified. Native Linux.
- Stacking: Playable (the default controller setup isn’t fully functional, and on-screen glyphs don’t match the Deck). Native Linux.
- Spacebase DF-9: Playable (some text is too small, and glyphs don’t match). Native Linux.
- MASSIVE CHALICE: Unsupported (Valve cites graphics performance). Native Linux build listed on Steam.
- Iron Brigade: Unsupported (Valve says SteamOS doesn’t support it). Windows only.
- Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin: Unsupported. It’s a VR game, and Valve says SteamOS doesn’t support it on Deck. Windows only.
Pay $8 or more (adds 4 games, 11 total):
- Brütal Legend: Verified. Native Linux.
- Broken Age: Verified. Native Linux on Steam, though Humble’s page lists only Windows for it.
- Psychonauts: Playable (the default controller setup isn’t fully functional, glyphs don’t match, the on-screen keyboard doesn’t pop up automatically, and it doesn’t default to native resolution). Native Linux.
- Kiln: Unsupported (Valve says SteamOS doesn’t support it). Windows only. It’s Double Fine’s online PvP pottery brawler, released April 23, 2026.
The tally: 4 Verified, 3 Playable and 4 Unsupported. That leaves 7 of 11 rated Verified or Playable on Steam Deck. In the $5 tier, it’s 4 of 7.
An Unsupported rating means Valve’s testing found the game doesn’t run well enough, or isn’t supported, on Steam Deck. It’s not a guarantee the game won’t launch, but I wouldn’t buy any of those four expecting to play them on a SteamOS handheld.
The value, at Steam’s prices
Here are each game’s Steam prices at my check time:
- $5 tier: These seven games list for $98.31 combined on Steam:
- Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin $19.99
- MASSIVE CHALICE $19.99
- Iron Brigade $14.99
- Hack ‘n’ Slash $13.37
- Costume Quest $9.99
- Stacking $9.99
- Spacebase DF-9 $9.99
- $8 tier: The four extra games list for $47.96 combined:
- Brütal Legend $14.99
- Broken Age $14.99
- Psychonauts $9.99
- Kiln $7.99
- The full bundle: All 11 games list for $146.27 combined on Steam.
- One caveat: Brütal Legend is on sale on Steam right now for $2.24 (85% off). At current Steam prices, the full set comes to $133.52.
If you only count the seven games rated Verified or Playable, they add up to $83.31 at regular Steam prices, and you get all seven with the $8 tier. Four of them, worth $43.34, are in the $5 tier.
My take (opinion)
This is my opinion, not a test. For a SteamOS player, the $8 tier is the one to get. The extra $3 adds two Verified games, Brütal Legend and Broken Age, plus the original Psychonauts at Playable. Costume Quest and Hack ‘n’ Slash in the base tier are also both Verified with native Linux builds, which is a good sign for handheld play.
One caveat for my own setup: these ratings come from Valve’s testing on Steam Deck hardware. My original Legion Go runs SteamOS too, but I haven’t played these games on it, so I can’t promise the same results. I’d treat the Deck rating as a strong guide, not a guarantee. If you’re mainly after Kiln or Rhombus of Ruin, those are Windows-only and Unsupported on Deck, so this bundle is really for PC players.
