Caravan SandWitch and Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong Are Free to Claim With Prime on Amazon Luna

Two story-driven PC games joined Luna's Free Games with Prime lineup on October 15. They're downloads you keep, not cloud streams, and they come through two different launchers.

Amazon has two more PC games for Prime members to claim at no extra cost through Luna, the service that absorbed Prime Gaming: Caravan SandWitch and Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong. Notebookcheck flagged the pair on October 18. Amazon’s own October lineup lists both as arriving October 15.

Check time: I checked these details on Monday, October 19, 2026, at about 12:15 AM CT. Offers vary by region and can change, so confirm on Luna’s claims page before you count on them.

The two games

Caravan SandWitch

  • What it is: A cozy, narrative-driven exploration adventure from Studio Plane Toast, published by Dear Villagers. You drive a van across the sci-fi, Provence-inspired planet Cigalo, searching for your missing sister. It first launched on September 12, 2024.
  • How you get it: Amazon lists it as an Amazon Games App claim.
  • Claim window: October 15 through December 16, per Notebookcheck and Metacritic.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong

  • What it is: A story-driven RPG from Big Bad Wolf, published by Nacon. You play three vampires in Boston, and your dialogue choices shape how the story plays out. It first launched on May 19, 2022.
  • How you get it: Amazon lists it as an Epic Games Store claim, so you’ll link an Epic account and play it there.
  • Claim window: October 15 through November 18, per Notebookcheck and Metacritic.

Free with Prime, but not a Luna stream

This is the part that’s easy to mix up. Luna now has two different kinds of “free with Prime” games:

  • Luna Standard: A rotating library of games you stream from the cloud, which Amazon says is included with Prime.
  • Free Games with Prime: PC games you claim at luna.amazon.com/claims and download to keep. Amazon’s October update lists both of these games in this PC section, with no mention of them in the cloud library.

So you’ll need a Prime membership, a PC that can run them, and the right launcher. In its help pages, Amazon describes the Amazon Games App as a Windows app for claimed PC games.

Regions

Amazon’s help pages say PC game claims are available in more than 200 countries, but you can only “select from games available in your region.” Luna’s cloud streaming is available in far fewer countries; Amazon’s Canadian help page says 14. I couldn’t confirm the exact region list for these two games because Luna’s claims page wasn’t loading during my check.

The handheld angle

Here’s what’s accurate:

  • Windows handhelds: Since these are Windows PC downloads through Epic and the Amazon Games App, a Windows handheld such as an Asus ROG Ally or a Legion Go on Windows can install them like any PC. Separately, Amazon’s supported-devices page lists Chrome (83+) and Edge (90+) on Windows 10 and 11 for Luna’s cloud streaming.
  • Steam Deck and SteamOS: Linux and SteamOS aren’t on Amazon’s official Luna supported-devices list. Amazon only says you “may be able to access Luna on other devices using a Chrome browser,” but that “gameplay quality and other features may not work as expected.” There’s also no official Linux version of the Amazon Games App or the Epic Games Store, so these two claims don’t have an officially supported path onto a Steam Deck.
  • A Steam Deck note: Dear Villagers said Caravan SandWitch’s Steam version was Steam Deck Verified at launch. That rating applies to the Steam copy, not a copy claimed through Amazon.

My take (opinion)

This is my opinion, not reporting. My original Legion Go runs SteamOS, and these two claims don’t have an official route onto it. Some players use third-party launchers to run Epic or Amazon libraries on SteamOS, but Amazon and Epic don’t support that, and I haven’t tested it with these two games, so I won’t promise it works. If you have a Windows handheld, it’s the easy route. Caravan SandWitch in particular sounds like a relaxed, no-combat game that suits short handheld sessions. Either way, it costs nothing to claim both now so they’re in your library.
